The program
Emmoke Finanzplan stores all data encrypted (AES-256) on your device or in a cloud folder you choose. The vendor receives no data. The program only uses an internet connection for functions you trigger yourself (e.g. sending e-mail or the optional AI assistant with your own key).
This website
This website uses no cookies and no advertising services. The web server stores technically necessary access data (e.g. IP address, time) for a short time. The website and the downloads are hosted on GitHub Pages by GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. GitHub processes your IP address to deliver the page and protect it against attacks. The transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, in which GitHub participates (Art. 45 GDPR), and on standard contractual clauses. Legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and available website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More: GitHub privacy statement.
Visitor counting with GoatCounter
We use GoatCounter for audience measurement on the Emmoke and Emmoke Finanzplan home pages. When a page is opened, its path and title are sent to GoatCounter (emmoke.goatcounter.com); the service also processes technically necessary connection data such as your IP address. The counter uses no cookies. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring reach and improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More information: GoatCounter.
Download counter
On the Emmoke Finanzplan page your browser asks GitHub (api.github.com) how often the files have been downloaded in total. Your IP address is transmitted to GitHub (see above). We do not collect or store personal data through this download counter; it uses no cookies. The number only shows the total number of downloads.
Contact via WhatsApp
The home page contains a link to WhatsApp. If you use it, WhatsApp Ireland Limited (4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland) processes your phone number, profile name, message content and metadata; data may be transferred to Meta Platforms in the USA (basis: EU-US Data Privacy Framework). We use your message only to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Using WhatsApp is voluntary – you can also reach us by e-mail or phone. A connection to WhatsApp is only established when you click the link; no data is transferred before. WhatsApp information: whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea.
Contact by e-mail
Emmoke is not sold; we do not collect payment data. If you write to us by e-mail (e.g. to extend the trial), we use your name, e-mail address and message only to answer your request and delete them when they are no longer needed (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). E-mail is handled by Microsoft Outlook.com (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.).
Reviews
If you send a review, your e-mail program opens; “Contact by e-mail” applies. With your consent we publish stars, text, date and the display name you chose on this website (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by e-mail; we will then remove the review.
The “Request a project” form on the home page transfers no data to this website: it only puts your entries into an e-mail and opens your e-mail program. Only when you send the e-mail yourself does “Contact by e-mail” apply (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – steps prior to a contract).
